You’re hallucinating. Next thing you know you’ll be seeing sheep in the streets.
Mmmmm, dancing Guinness. I sometimes see faces in the beautiful bubble cascade as the Guinness settles.

Are you kidding? Today I took a picture of sheep crossing the street in front of me. Read up on NZ if you don’t believe me. 4 million people, 40 million sheep!
As for the Guinness sighting, it was a little street festival. A group of women were doing an everybody’s welcome Zumba demonstration. It’s like aerobics to salsa music. Anyway, apparently the Guinness guy’s “handler” made him go out there and participate, which the Guinness glass was clearly not excited about…
Today we did Zorb, the Agrodome and Schweeb. Look them up to learn more!
long live the king…
Long live tinyurl… or gilbys hefty bank balance…which ever may come first…
No. Kidding is for goats. Sheeps are serious and don’t kid around.
Have fun in NZ, and watch out for the crazy birds.
Sheep.
Sheeps [sic]
So, what is this “tinyurl” you all speak of? I feel confused.
TinyURL is a URL shortener service developed by Gilby. It’s useful for keeping really long URLs from wrapping in email messages and newsgroup messages. Also useful for making really long URLs, like Google Street View links, manageable if you need to write them down or Tweet them.
My understanding of the history is that TinyURL came from a need Gilby had when setting up the forums here and linking it to the RSU newsgroup. There needed to be a way to keep long URLs posted in the forum from word wrapping when sent to the newsgroup. TinyURL to the rescue. From there it became an internet sensation and keeps Gilby’s fridge stocked with beer.
lol It’s funny how you think this is amazing. I guess I’m just so used to seeing sheep on the road.
I’d be more worried about this if I were you.
Lol… Looks like I’m going to rent a car now
Back to the topic subject: I never knew that he was the Tiny Url owner! That’s so awesome
Ahahaha. Soon everyone will get a taste on NZ parties
Apparently bit.ly is used more now, especially on Twitter, but I think Gilby’s changed the way tinyurl works to match the features and advantages of bit.ly.
I still use Tinyurl, because Gilby’s awesome
Tinyurl is way better than bit.ly from a privacy standpoint.
bit.ly makes it way too easy for the link creator and anyone else to get statistics on how many clicks a particular bit.ly link got, along with when and where. That’s TMI for general use. Makes it too easy to track if you’ve opened a link.
Tinyurl has the way cool preview feature. So it’s possible to see where a tinyurl link goes before it actually sends you there. Very handy that.
Privacy? That’s SO 1998!
