so i got a savage 6’ for christmas and i have already had much success in the general riding aspect. i have noticed that out of the two times i attempted to idle that both times i nearly accomplished it. now on my Torker LX it took me quite a while to get anywhere close to idling. ive also almost successfully freemounted my giraffe out of about 5 attempts. it took me, again, a long while until i could freemount my torker.
to the point: has anyone else experience being more comfortable on a giraffe than a normal uni?
i think a coker is gonna be my next wheel. ive wanted one for a while. i got the giraffe cause i wanted one as well and it was more finacially attainable.
After getting used to my 28" and riding several miles, I though I’d mess around for a while on my 20"; think again. It took me 4 tries to freemount it, and a lot more effort to steadily pedal straight forward.
The raffie will make some things feel easier because of the longer ‘lag’ in falling over.
You have more time to make corrections to your balance on the raffie.
idleing is just like balanceing a meter stick on ur finger -quite easy… but idleing on a 20" is like balancing a pen on ur finger- harder than balanceing the ruler… i am not sure if this theory is 100% ture but it is just what i think, also i can do MUCH longer stand stills on my giraffe than a trials uni.
