On our walk last night, my girlfriend and i Spied something in the sky, something special. On further examination it was; Comet McNaught!Comet McNaught
It is said to be the most spectacular comets for 40 years!
and passed closer to earth than the famous hayleys comet.
I would never have thought i would use this word on here, yet, It was Beautiful sigh
I saw it from the southern Part of the earth today. Its really cool and clearly visible with the naked eye.
yes, if my geometry is correct it would be heading your way. i was amazed at how slow it traveled. we noticed it just on sunset, so it was just above and off to the right of the sun, looked magnificent, like someone was bombing the sun.
its only visible at sunset and sunrise because viewed from earth its only 10° away from the sun. You didnt see it travel, you just saw the effect of the earth turning.

Hey, I saw that commet a few days ago! It was amazing! I watched it for over an hour. I got to see it slip below the horrizon. It was awesome.
