i am a huge fan of coldplay i love they’r music and videos!! and i saw a videos song names Paradise, i liked the song but the best part of the video hapens from 1:50, i hope you enjoy it! and if you find more music videos with unicycles or advertising i will love to see them!!

I feel like they just set us back 20 years. It’s annoying.
Someone posted a video of some piano player (or rock band? Something like coldplay :p) a few weeks ago that had a choreographed unicycle thing… I’d say about 20 riders all doing things around this piano in the middle of a gym.
Quite the opposite. If one of the artists from Coldplay did all that unicycling, in an elephant costume with huge feet no less, in a music video, that makes it cooler than it was. Don’t like the basic unicycle he was on? This means nothing to the average viewer. Anyway, unicycles like that are what about 99% of the world’s unicyclists ride.
I like the fact that he momentarily takes off the head to show it’s really him! There seems no other reason to do so, as it doesn’t support the storyline. Every try riding a unicycle in clown shoes? Hard. Even big boots are challenging if you’re not used to it. He rode on dirt roads in a hot-looking (that is, warm inside) costume with wide feet. Props!
That was TCUC (Twin Cities Unicycle Club) but I don’t remember who the musician was. It was very nicely done.

Maybe my beef is with the exchange at the bike store. I’m not a fan of the band either, so seeing something I love and something I don’t like come together like that gives me mixed feelings. I guess any unicycling shown in the mainstream that isn’t part of a circus is progress. But if they somehow uncovered footage of Al Qaeda training on uni’s in the desert, that would be bad, right? Coldplay isn’t quite as bad as Al Qaeda, so I guess I’ll let it go.

I have to agree with you about the Al Qaeda thing though. In fact, I think if pictures or video of them training with unicycles were unearthed, it would both harm unicycling and Al Qaeda. Them using unicycles makes the unicycle look bad, while at the same time, them being seen on unicycles does nothing for their supposed badass reputation. People would laugh at them.

I like the song and the video (made me smile that he was stowed away in a trunk).
You can’t really moan about the bike store bit, as it is very true that a cheap unicycle is much cheaper than a fancy downhill bike! Well done that elephant for making do, learning to ride it and getting back to his elephant buddies:).
