Saturday, I finally got a chance to get back to the Cioker. I’ve been too busy to ride anything for a while. Matt (mkuhfal) and myself got together for a little Cokering. We decidied to hit the paved Mission Trails, which run along the San Antonio River and join many of the historic Spanish Missions. This trail has quite a few small hills which really helped me hone my skills on the big wheel. I ended up with more UPD’s than I would have preferred, but at least I got to practice fremounting a little more. This forced me away from my dependence on standing on a curb to freemount. The method I found working best for me at this time, is to reach over the seat and grab the wheel, pulling myself up onto the Coker. We had a great 10 mile ride with perfect weather.
