Coker

hello everyone out in Cyberland… I’m looking for a good second-hand
Coker if anyone has one for sale or knows of one that I may be able to buy
can you please help me out by telling me about it. I have a muni at the
moment and my riding partner has just upgraded to a Coker and he leaves me
so far behind now it is frustrating…

Thanks for any help received

The terrain you are riding on is not rough enough. Make it steeper or
bumpier and you should be able to keep up just fine.

Used Cokers are going to be rare as they have only been around for a few
years now and I don’t know how many people are giving them up. Good luck!

If you do find one second hand (you are in the UK aren’t you?) you might
want to be aware that 4 Cokers (with distinctive customisations) were
stolen in the North-East a couple of years ago. Although the owners have
all replaced their Cokers, any lead to the thieves would be useful…

Good point, I had forgotten about that, and since Mark is with 20miles of
where they were stolen it is worth mentioning.

Dont forget about the 2 mountain bikes that was attached to the said 4
Coker’s. Their owners have also replaced their mountain bikes. I would
doubt very much that after nearly 2 years we will hear anything about
them! Rog do you still get stopped by the police when you go up to
Sedgefield on your Coker?

Contrary to what somebody mentioned earlier, there is still a good chance
that one or all of these unicycles will turn up someday. There just aren’t
that many Cokers anywhere.

My friend had his Tom Miller big wheel (40" with chrome frame and Miyata
seat) stolen out of his car around 1984, and it did show up a few years
later at RBBB Clown College. This one was easy to spot as it was a rare
variation of the usual big wheels Tom made, plus they all had prominent
serial numbers on them.

Everyone in the UK should keep their eyes open…

Back in 1994 I lost a Schwinn unicycle to thieves. Okay, I shouldn’t have
left it hidden in a bush and forgotten about it for three days. (Rexburg,
Idaho) It still was pretty distinctive at the time. So has anyone seen a:

Chrome/Blue Schwinn 24" Blue Schwinn Seat Toe Clips Knobby Tire Custom
seat post shock made from two small motorcycle shocks welded together with
the coil-over springs painted fluorescent orange. (About 1" travel)

Not that it would really be that valuable to me anymore, but it’d still be
cool to get it back.
