Coker Withdrawal

Well… I broke my collar bone as a result of a very ugly dismount
Saturday. So, now I have to wear a brace and wait until it heals before I
can ride again. I’m not sure why I fell so poorly (I’m trying not to
blame it on the big dogs that were barking at me). I just got tangled in
my feet and went down hard on my side and even hit the side of my helmet.
I really don’t think there’s a lesson to be learned here, I just want to
not go crazy until I can (safely) ride again (about 6 weeks according to
my doc) -Mark

Sorry to hear about your crash.

Get well soon. Maybe you could read up more on the fine art of spoke patterns and the physics of wheel building within the next 6 weeks?

I’m sorry to hear about that. I broke my wrist (not on a Coker) and it
took forever to heal. Worse was my other half’s collar bone, broken in a
horse-riding accident.

Still, it could be worse: you might have damaged the Coker

What a drag! Best wishes for a really speedy and complete recovery!
You’ll be back.
