coker upgrade

i have had my coker uni for a while now, i think it was from the first batch.
the inner berring seals have compleaty discentergrated, the spokes have turned
kinda black in many spots. rust here and there, and yes i do keep it clean, i
ride in all kinds of weather and often on dirt trails not sure how many miles on
it , but alot. just put a new tire on it, the old one was almost down to the
threads. the burr on the inner wheel seam was so big i’m surrprised the tube
surrvived so long… easy fix with a dremmel. the real saving grace for this uni
is it’s size that’s really it! mabey sem or tom or pashley or somebody should
build a high quailty uni’s to fit the coker tire. i would buy one in a heart
beat! even at twice the $ it would also be really cool if coker made a 42 inch
tire and tube. whada u all think?

Re: coker upgrade

I agree totally about the tire being the one really good thing about the Coker.
It should not be that difficult for someone to build a “better” Coker. I would
buy one for sure. Also, I’d vote for an option for a larger wheel as long as it
still had an “air” tire. -Mark

It is worth mentioning there are actually 2 versions of the cover. Vinyl
and Leather! Check with john for availability currently but I know that
there will be loads soon because I am about to send another batch across
the pond. He is also getting blue and red vinyl covers.
