Coker juggling

Our spell of amazing weather is continuing here in California. Twice in the past
3 days I’ve been down at the beach juggling, playing in the water - just
amazing. T-shirt and shorts…

This morning since it was so nice I decided to juggle clubs on the way to work.
It had been a year since I juggled while riding to work, and it just seemed like
a good idea. It turned out to be fun and easy. 6.5 miles, average speed 9mph,
max 15.2, 5920 catches, longest run around 800, 45 minutes.

Juggling while riding fast feels surreal though, looking ahead and just trusting
that the clubs will land right. Lots of spontaneous applause from people walking
by too. And NO circus jokes (for once)!

That wouldn’t work – people would have to actually read it first!

I’m more of a juggler than a unicyclist, so maybe I’m spending too much time
making sure I’m not riding into a stop sign, or the side of a bus, but it seems
to me like counting your throws on a uni is rediculously impractical.
Considering you counted to 5,920, maybe you have a different method of counting
than I do (like a machine you attach to your arm…). Anyways, congrats, I sure
couldn’t keep that up for 45 minutes!

What’s your trick? A large sign stating “I’m not in a circus, so don’t think
you’re clever by asking me!”?

You could wear an “i hate clowns” T-shirt from the No Clown Zone. While it’s not
a anti-circus shirt, it still tells a similar message. The shirt is a picture of
a clown behind a circle with a slash through it and the words “i hate clowns”.
