Coker in Camry Trunk (extracted thought from unrelated thread)

I thought this was an interresting enough topic for its own thread.

I own a 99 Camry (virtually same trunk as the 03). I routinely carry my Coker and up to two other unis in this trunk. There’s other stuff in it too, that always rides with me…rope, raingear, etc. But if its only the Coker, it fits with no special effort.

i’ve had custody of JayneZa’s coker while she’s recovering from an ankle injury and i’ve been using it at the meet-and-greet gigs i do at the casino
it makes for a nice change from the 20", it’s vissually almost as arresting as a 5ft raffie and it’s a nice way to get better at micro-controlling the Coker

i find it fits on the back seat of my Daewoo Lanos with the 20" lying in the footwell of the backseat and my durastilts and bag of juggling gear lying across the backseat
the 20" goes in first and then the coker rolls in
the stilts and the bag slides in underneath the coker
it’s a neat arrangement and reminds me of fitting in a complete drumkit into the back of my car (another car, it was a Nissan Pulsar [but the one in the EXA shape])
we (myself and the drummer) knew that everything had to go in it’s special place else we wouldn’t fit everything in

I drive a 2005 Chevy Aveo, the behind the seat trunk area won’t even fit my 24", it probably would with the seat lowered though.

But my coker takes up the whole width of the back seat, luckily though it fits down in the footwell for the back seats I just have to make sure the pedal on that side goes between the front seats.
