CMW Bracelet Contest!!!

Hey, for all of you that haven’t cut off your CMW bracelets, I have a challenge, lets see who can go the longest with it on. I’m thinking that Moab would be a perfect goal.

I’ve kept a bracelet like this one on for over 2 years before, and am more than prepared to keep it on just as long.

I think we should check once a month. Just post a picture with your wrist next to something dated, like a Newspaper, or something else.

Ready, set, GO!!!

if i wanna compete, could i duct tape mine back on?

Nope, you have to have never removed it to compete. Not taping, glueing meling or re-adhering it in any way.

oh wells. good luck to y’alls.

How many people even still have it on???

If I had gone…I totally would still have it on.

Nah… the bracelet was uncomfortable. I took mine off before Sunday’s ride and put it on my camelbak. The best bracelet at a uni convention was the one from the European Muni and trials Convention. It was more like a regular bracelet that was clamped together and the end was melted to secure it.

It was cutting me in the shower I riped it off and threw it into the middle of hte bathroom. Today I saw it on hte counter…thats the last ive seen since i threw it away, farwell sharp bracelet, I have enough on my wrist as it is!

I never got one:(

…looks like Catboy is going to win

Mine came off after the banquet. Still not sure why it had to go on on Friday morning, other than to lock it to the person who just registered.

The un-bracelet record could go to Melanie Bazile, who was there with me, Jacquie and Robin. She paid the $30 to attend the banquet, never put it on, and left midway through the banquet.

Meanwhile, some of us like to leave our lift tickets in our wheels after visiting a ski place. My DM had the ticket from the place in Toronto in 2001 until very recently. I thought that was impressive until I saw Tony Ferlazzo and Jed Donnelley’s unicycles at the Berkeley festival. They both had their Northstar lift tickets from MUni Weekend 2000!

Me too… after my ice-cold outdoor shower Friday afternoon I had a few bright red scrapes across my chest… I’d rather be able to smell good than sport a spiffy bracelet.

Good thing you had something on.
