Cinder blocks = Bad Idea for Trials Practice

I went outside to practice some trials for the first time a couple of months.

I made a 2x2 square out of 4 cinder blocks.

First hop…made it to the ledge…but the cinderblock tipped over. Then I fell On the pile of the other three.

So as a word of advice, you may wish to avoid cinder blocks. They leave nasty scrapes.

Cinder blocks aren’t all bad. I’ve found that they’re good for supporting thinner fallen trees. Just thread the tree through one of the holes in the cinder block. That way the trees don’t roll side to side, and you can link several lengths of tree to ride on.

Thats a good idea. But I’m going to stay away from them for a few days at least haha.

Any home made trials prop can be a bad idea if it is able to roll or fall over.

You have to affix it in a way that it can’t do that. I’ve found that out the hard way several times myself.

Yeah. Today I was riding on an unsecured tree that fell and It started spinning.

uh oh…

No, I acctually still rode on it…

oh okay haha

You think I’m lying?

No, I would’ve used an ellipsis (…) if I were implying sarcasm. I believe you.

I set up some cinder blocks for trialsy stuff using my Muni. They did feel really unstablem but I was lucky I didn’t fall!

The “Cinder-ama” segment is 1:24 minutes in.

I use cinder blocks and they never give me any trouble.

PS: I use solid cinder block, I dont know if you use hollow or solid but apparently solid works better.

How do you ride on trees without falling for the bump of the top of the cider block?

thats nothing.
they only fall over if you build them (stack) wrong.

I broke a cinderblock before when snapping down to jump off it.

mine were hollow.

I didn’t say it was a terrible injury.

How can you stack them wrong? I landed on the very edge of it, which caused it to tip over…which it would’ve in any stacking position.

ok
they only fall over when you land on them wrong.

and how can you stack them wrong.
put the center of mass just barely over the one beneath it duh

Wow! I am truly impressed. (You even used the subjunctive.)

Tell me, what is the punctuation mark to denote the absence of an ellipsis?

I’m not quite sure.

I wikipedia’d it, but still can’t find the answer to your question.

Would it be brackets?

But If I put cinderblocks to stabalize it, the tops of the blocks will trip me because they are elevated higher than the tree.
