A group of seven of us went out to China Camp State Park for a MUni ride this weekend. The group included Anders from Norway, who had rarely ridden with other cyclists, as well as two guys (Mike and Jason) who were doing their first-ever MUni ride. There also were several more experienced unicyclists, including me and mscalisi.
Conditions were muddy but rideable. We had one short downpour that slicked things up, but other than that the weather was quite nice. China Camp is mostly wide singletrack, ranging from easy to moderately technical.
I was tired but not worn out after 12 miles; that probably means I’ll be worn out after Slickrock, but I think we’re all in better shape for Moab now.
