Check this guy out!

There is a guy that made one of the local papers for riding his uni up Kennesaw Mountain. It is a local historic battleground from the civil war. My first time driving a Drivers Education car was from the top of this mountain down. I was scared out of my mind!

Interesting information on the battle can be found here as well.

Here is a link to the specifics about the road to the top. It rises over 1000 feet in 1.2 miles. I don’t know how steep that is, but it seems pretty steep. Kennesaw Mountain Road

That guy is cool but crazy. Whats with the typo at the begining of the article? “all him crazy” haha

Maybe they printed a large capital C using a picture instead of proper
text, and it was omitted from the online version which is text-only?

I think profile should make some stronger 145mm cranks - Ryan Atkins

That is too cool Bugman. Thanks for posting the article.

I did that very ride (non-stop, with no dabs) back in 1986. I was in college in Marietta, GA at the time. In fact, I would ride my old 24" Schwinn on the trail for the parking lot at the bottom of Kennesaw Mountain.

Drivers thought I was crazy too! But, I didn’t make the newspaper. --chirokid–

That’s cause you don’t have a publicist.
