Changing seats on the Muni

I went for a test ride and was sold on getting a Pashley Muni. But, as everyone
says, the seat is lousy. It needs to be replaced, and I have a Miyata seat just
sitting on the shelf.

How have you folks gone about doing the transplant? Does it involve welding? I’m
not sure I’m ready for brain surgery.

Buy a handle bar shim and use the Miyiata seat stem

hack the top from your Miyata seat and the post from the Pashley, weld the two
together, its a 10 minute job total.
