Casting in Los Angeles for Unicyclist

Seeking guys 18 to 30 years old that are great on their own unicycle.
This is for a K Swiss Commercial (famous maker shoe).
It is non union commercial, but there is pay if selected to work. Great exposure. Seeking Guys that can do tricks, stunts, anything! We have a bmx ramp set up at the audition location…
The audition is Tuesday, April 25th.
If selected to work, it works one of the following days in L.A.
May 9th, 10th or 11th.
If you can go… or know anyone that can tryout… have them call our hot line(323) 390-9422 (ok to call 24 hours a day, recorded information).

Don’t do it !

It’s a scam !

are you a union boss? what makes you think that?

maybe not, but i wouldn’t be able to make it there, i would love to, but i cant, and I’m not sure how well a bmx ramp would be, maybe setting up some pallets and getting some benches, then it would be good =p

They have a web page for the casting audition so it must be legit.

Not a scam, I thought this forum was friendly?

Guys take a minute to believe some of us actually do what we say we do. I don’t want money, its no trick… the people that hire me count on me to get them whatever they need, and they often through stuff at me late at night. I still have faith that someone will read this in time by tomorrow to show up at the audition. Here is a link to help you know that this is what I do for a living.

We have a real ramp, from a BMX compettion company

It is being set up by disasterbmx.com as some of their guys are auditioning for the bmx stunts…

Standup wheel walking while wearing K-Swiss shoes would look cool and get some attention on the shoes.

If only Irene was in LA instead of France…

If you’ve got the money fly me over there. I’d do it for free… well besides the plane fee.

I would go if I lived closer (I can pass for 30 with a helmet on). It’s probably for background imagery of people doing tricks on bikes and unicycles. I’m all for that! It’s very cool for them to specifically want unicycles.

“Non-union” means two things. You don’t have to have a SAG (or whatever) card to be in the shoot, and the pay might be less than union scale. If they won’t tell you up front what’s being offered to someone who fits their bill, expect it to be minimal.

But I would still try to go if I lived closer!
