the unicycle world has replaced and improoved nearly the entire miyata seat.

i seems to me that if i bought:
a cf miyata base,
a roach cover,
a dog bone, (i’d probably make one).
a reeder handle ( i already have one),
some assorted bolts.

then i’d only be short of a rear bumper.
can they be bought seperatly?
is there some other ghost in the machine that i’ll need? perhaps i could find a miyata seat and try to buy it’s soul.

in fact if anyone has a miyata seat, i’d be quite willing to buy it’s soul, for a reasonable price of course, only i’d prefer to buy from the u.k. as i’m not sure what customs would think.

I think once you’ve built the thing it’s not a Miyata Seat until you fasten it to a table in some spooky castle on the top of a mountain in a lightning storm and throw the Big Ominous Switch ™…

The last time I checked with Unicycle.com, they were not available. I believe Rebecca said that it may be possible to get them someday, just not soon.

I wonder if there’s a black market for Miyata seat parts?
