Cart Wheels ?

I took a trip down to DM the other day (of DM unicycles fame) because we’re
having him make another Off Road Uni.

Anyway lying around in his ‘workshop’ he seemed to be builing lots of Ultimate
Wheels, a 28" Uni amongst other things.

What caugh my eye is the Aluminium 20" he was working on for someone who wanted
to perform ‘cart wheels’ on his uni.

Is this a well known trick - has anybody attempted it ?

Besides the cart-wheel aspect, I was quite impressed with the weight of the
thing too.

It had an alloy wheel of some description, it was a top peice of kit - does
anyone else manufacture aluminium unis ?

Might be time to add a 20" to my collection after all.

It’s a trick that many audiences request (“Do a flip!”), but very rarely
actually done. It’s tough because of the extra height you get with that
wheel sticking out under you, it makes those kinds of acrobatic moves that
much harder…
