Car Add

Who was it who did that add for BMW with a unicycle in the desert. I remember
hearing about that and now i’ve seen the add. It says “when the wheels that
drive are the wheels that turn steering can be difficult, that’s why all BMW’s
are rear wheel drive”. Hmmm, i disagree you can turn way sharper on a uni!!!

I’ve been driving front-drive cars since I got my license (1978), and I can’t
say I agree with BMW’s assessment. I’ve steered front-drive cars with one
finger, and had to wrestle with the steering wheel of my friend’s rear-drive
Toyota pickup truck, a small one.

They should stick to something more accurate, like “rear wheel drive is much
more fun on sports cars and driving machines!”

This of course applies to a unicycle, which combines the best features of both
front and rear drive, though with steering on the drive wheel…
