I’ve got $17,19! Sorry american people
LOL
We just used our Canadian tire money to buy something. I think it was about $20. I thought we’d be free from it but we paid some cash on top of the CT money and got 5 cents in CT money back. I am always finding it around our house and in our cars. I guess we shop there a lot!
Hey! how do you have $17.19? i thought it only came in .05, .10, .25, .50 and 1.00.
I miss counted… $17,20! haha…
I got a 2$ Canadian Tire bill when I was in Manitoba last summer… Odd…
I’ve got 35 cents! I’m freakin’ loaded!
$1.30, and most of that was from when I bought my b*ke a couple weeks ago. I don’t shop there much.

Please refrain from making threads that make no sense to dumb, arrogant Americans.
LOL, just kidding, of course. Non-Canadians click here. This is déjà vu all over again! Do you know that we get your pennies mixed up with ours? Occasionally, someone will give me a Canadian penny as part of my change. Hey, I can’t spend that here! Unless I can pass it off as a U.S. penny to someone else.
Do you sometimes get U.S. pennies when people give you change? So much stuff floating around that isn’t “real money”. It’s cool that CT “money” is accepted at some stores!
Edit: it’s also interesting that the government allowed them to print something that looks so much like real money that it’s often confused with real money.
Sure do. I get American quarters and dimes and stuff too sometimes. I’ve never heard of people mixing up Canadian Tire money with real money though, and I don’t know how you could; they look pretty different.
Oh, sorry. It’s good that it looks different! Maybe I misread the Wikipedia article. I skimmed it pretty fast.
I get american Penny’s, Dimes and quarters all the time… its roughly the same shape so people dont care…
As far as the canadian tire money goes… an Irish dude with a Beret is not on all our bills… I guess thats why they keep the values low.
I wish I was Canadian, just so I could get in on this.
And it’s gone.
Still, maybe Canadian Tire will expand southward?
Its been a Canadian company since 1922, but… you never know
I think everybody does
I have got 31.5 $
My daughter gets all of my Canadian Tire money. She’s probably got around $10 or so with it. It’s a great reward system!
