Calling All Notheastern Riders!!!

This year I hope to lead a group of unicyclists into the MS bike tour. All together we have 4 or five riders currently available but I was hoping that others would join. Perhaps the bombproof Coker guys in Southeastern CT? Ben? Anywho… my e-mail address is freethegerbils@juno.com. Please contact me if you wish to join the team as I will have to give you the CT unicycle team code for you to join.

This is for a good cause and its a lot of fun. We did it last year and brought a lot of TV interest to the tour and raised more than 600 dollars toward research. Registration deadline is soon and you have to raise a minimum of 100 dollars to participate but its worth the small effort you have to make to extract 10 bucks from 10 friends.

The MS bike tour is a great event. Last year I unied in the one day 40 mile version on a 24" wheel. This year I’m doing the whole two day/150 miles of it on a 700c semcycle lite. Good luck in CT. You guys have a lot more choices of tour lengths. I’m thinking of writing a press release to get MS and the tour (and unicycling) some more publicity. Any advice on calling TV stations/newspapers?
