Buying a unicycle

It’s here!

Customs didn’t charge any duty.

Now I just have to set it up. The seat post is very long so I’ll have to cut it. Sounds like the brake also needs adjusting.

Thanks for encouraging me to go ahead and get one from Canada. I sure was nervous about it during the 11 days it took to get here.

Woo hoo! Pictures eagerly awaited.

Yes! (A couple of guys on our group ride last Saturday had the new KH26s, and they like them a lot!)

The 2015er oder the 2016er?

Will they ship anything to USA or just items that UDC USA doesn’t have in stock?

anything you want. I’ve ordered parts there (and the UK) before when the price was cheaper than in the US even after shipping.

Not sure how to tell the difference. They were both just a couple months old. They had the 3" tire, the Zero saddle, and the forged neck joint. Neither had the handlebar, though.

This is my new addition.

Only got to ride it for about 15 minutes after getting it back from the shop. Took it in to have them check the wheel and brake. Everything seems fine. Hmm looking at the photo … perhaps the brake lever needs some adjustment.

It’s one wild ride with that zero seat. I have the angle set at 3 right now but think I’ll adjust it to 2 tomorrow. This seat is so hard! I usually ride the KH street and thought that one was hard. The street version is like riding a pillow compared to the zero. I’ve read through many of the comments about the zero and know I’ll need to give it time.

Really need to put much more time on this uni before I can give any opinions but so far it seems really fun to ride on pavement. Now I just need to get it out on a trail.

Yeah, you need to break it in with some dirt! :sunglasses:

…and yes, the seat is so hard!!!lol…my exact feelings…somehow your butt (will) eventually get used to it, trust me, if you can endure it, it’ll be much better after a week’s time:D
