For some time now I have been wanting to start again with Buy-Tees.com. The
layout I’m keeping, the categories I’m keeping, the concept I’m keeping but
the programming language it’s written in I’m scrapping.
Basically my knowledge of Perl is very small and I have had difficulties to
introduce the features I want in buy-tees.com. Well now it’s possible. I
have completely redesigned the database and the scripts. It means moving
hosts which isn’t a problem because I was anyway.
Seeing as some of you here are members of Buy-Tees.com I would like to ask
you what features you would like to see introduced in the new release. I
have added my requirements but I hope you have some more ;o)

Continued…
Something else I aim to include in the new release is:
Create a customised store that is portable and can be easiliy installed
onto your own website. This will require no Perl, PHP, ASP setup knowledge
etc… it will just be a JS include.
I love this idea… and it will be a sinch!
I got this working last night… one question to yourself and anyone else
listening…
at the moment the data pulled back into the portable store is the main
t-shirt data i use at buy-tees. but i doubt every one will only want to
display t-shirts on their site… so shall I create a seperate repositary for
the portable stores - so people can submit mugs etc and include them in
their store. I guess I should, but I was thinking being from buy-tees would
a t-shirt solution just be acceptable… what do people think. it’s no big
deal to create another table or not, it’s just shall I bother… i’ll do
what you guys want cos you’re my customers :o)
