Close… But no way would I get a 2 wheel drive non-turbo DSM :frowning:

BTW saying the car has bad lifter might hurt the sale… it dosnt have
lifters! Most people would assume you broke the timing belt and the head
very well could be trash, along with the pistons and cylinder wall.

Things wrong with the ad:

  1. Bad pictures are worse than no pictures
  2. Excess negative comments without enough positive ones.
  3. Wrong pricing strategy. I see $100 and Reserve. I have no interest in
wasting my time figuring out what you want for it.

Re: Buy my car!!

Timing belt is good. It went dry on oil.

Re: Buy my car!!

That happened to me once… bottomed out on a dirt road and put a hole
in the pan. By the time we noticed, the camshaft was welded to the
engine block. The mechanic couldn’t turn it with a wrench.

Re: Buy my car!!

Mine happened when I was racing my friend. I started hearing a clicking
sound, but i didn’t think much of it. Stopped at a Paytoll, car died. I
yelled to my friends they heard. That backed up in front of my car. We all
got out, and we pushed the car across the highway. We checked the oil and it
was dirt dry. WE called friends they brought oil, we started teh car, and
drove it home. It was making clikcing sounds but it drove.

Now it doesn’t want to start.

Re: Buy my car!!

Regardless of the racing part, why would you think to drive a car that was
bone dry. Clicking sounds are not normal and indicate a problem, but you
just filler up and drive back home. Wow I sure hope there isn’t any sucker
who falls for this one. Sorry if I sound crass, but I can’t stop laughing in
amazment.

Re: Buy my car!!

Two days before the car went dry I put oil in it. So I don’t know why it
went dry so fast.

Well what are you going to do, the car is already shot, why add the fees
for paying for a tow as well?
