This thread is a repository of business/corporate logos that are purposely or accidentally suggestive of unicycling. Today at work I witnessed a team installing satellite transceivers on a fleet of trucks, and their logo instantly got my attention:
Seeing variations of the image on their website reinforces my belief that they had unicycling in mind when creating the logo. (of course I could still be imagining this)
If any of you have seen other logos that are like this please post them here.
(and my apologies if there’s already a similar thread, my searches turned up nothing)
Appropriateness is in the eye of the beholder, so if seeing a single wheel motivated by anything, (even non-human wings), works then the CTC one works. Thrice the wings, but still one wheel!
[oh snap! I had nothing to say about the other mystery one, until I visited unicycle.com to check knoxuni’s comment, and saw it. Been a long time since I’ve visited that site, it’s all new to me now]
This time I didn’t wait to stumble upon one in my travels, I did some internet searching:
This is for a health care industry consulting firm, Unicycle Consulting. I would prefer logos that are or appear to be accidentally suggestive of unicycling, (like my first example), but they seem to be rare so I’m not going to be picky.
There’s a company quand is called “UniFirst” I dont know what is it for, but there’s no unicycle too on the logo… I just thought it was cool when I saw the truck yesterday:p
Thank you, Klaas Bil for that. I don’t want to go down such a road, what we need here are logos - images.
I like the winged wheels only because they represent a single wheel motivated by a living force (bird-like wings), which is essentially what we unicyclists are.
Still, I’m on the hunt for more images like the first one, in which it is clear that the company has in mind an actual unicycle. In the two examples I found I am left wondering why a unicycle advances the company’s cause, unless it’s simply a way to assert that they are alone, with no peers or competition, the best…(don’t they understand that they risk giving the impression that they are clowns??)
