Does anyone know about building uni wheels?? I would like to try building one but dont know if it can be done on a normal bike type stand. Is it possible or would buying a prebuilt wheel be a more viable option? if anyone could help me out on this it would be greatly appreciated.

As tempting as it is to just refer you to the “wheel puzzle” post, I think that would only make you never post again, and plus there is not much left of that horse to even beat.
I have built uni wheels on a regular b*ke truing stand. It is less than ideal as the axle doesn’t fit in, but no major problems. The wheel turns out fine.
You asked if it is possible. Yes! Everything you would ever consider doing in life is possible if you want to do it bad enough. Not sure if this post helps you. It is tough to tell if you already know how to build wheels and are just wondering if uni wheel are different (not really), or if you want to know about wheel building in general.

Just use your uni frame. If you want some guides to help then put a couple of sticks on the forks held on with rubber bands. This works fine unless you plan to go into production.

This may be somewhat obvious but flipping your uni upside down is also a
great way to true the wheel - much easier than a bicycle whereby the wheel
almost definately has to be removed (which then requires a stand…)
