Which would be cheaper for building a uni for flatland? Buying one or building one?

it depends wat you want, you could start with buying a basic trials and customize it to meet your needs. or if you want specific things, build it

Prob just buying one. udc has tons of options for ya though.

like kh for example $569…

saddle: $50
seatpost: $20
frame: $200
cranks: $80
pedals: $40
hub: $100
spokes: 40-50$
rim: $75
tire: $30
rim strip: $10

up to bout 650…and that’s without a wheelbuild. so 650 if you know how to build wheels. prob around 685 if not.

and even the wheelsets aren’t really worth buying. I was gonna buy a nimbus wheelset for $170. but that’s just the rim/spokes/hub. for $160 more, i get an entire unicycle. like $250 to $300 in additional parts for 160 more.

so unless you want a really colorful, or mixed uni, like kh/nimbus or something, you’re prob just better off buying one.

Just buy a KH long neck with all the new parts…

add ons:
Carbon Fiber seat base
single bolt clamp.
and anything else to lighten it. if you want it lighter
