building a muni

well i’m sorta on a budget and i wanna build a muni i think i have my parts picked out but need to know if they are compatable and what not.
frame: Yuni black 26"
Hub: Suzu 36 hole
Rim: Alex dx32 26" is this a 36hole rim?
Tire: Intense DH 26x2.6"
cranks: Lasco 170mm will be upgraded later when i need them
saddle: kris holm black
and of course black spokes
will all this work together?
also what size seat post would i need to go with the yuni frame?

thanks for your help.

I can’t help you with the rest of it but I do know that the Alex DX-32 26" is a 36 hole rim. Are you getting the yellow or the black one? Is there a silver one?

Lasco cranks are notoriously bad for bending and breaking. I wouldn’t put them on your MUni in the first place - you’ll probably bend them within a week. Save yourself some money and buy better cranks to start with. I highly recommend Kooka 170mm cranks. I think Odyssey Black Widows and Shimano cranks are good too.

still planning

I’m getting the black rim and i know the lasco’s arent any good really mostly i’m getting them so i can ride it sooner then will up grade as soon as i can. better to have cheap cranks then none at all. this is a uni not an impossible wheel after all.

You’d be better off with these

Than the lascos, sure they’re a bit heavier but you probably won’t notice - and you won’t break them.

Bicycle Euro cranks are not expensive, hold up better than Lascos and
are available in 170 mm.
