Brian MacKenzie, would you please tell those of us who are not, “in the know,” why you have been known as Sofa, why your avatar is of a sofa, and whether your being of Irish descent has anything to do with your infatuation with beer??

Sofa is short for

the avatar of the sofa is simply to represent, ‘hey remember me, I posted as sofa’)
it’s technically scottish, not irish, although I could give a rat’s ass where my ancestors were from, as I would probably dislike them anyways
Beer, although quite urine tasting, makes one quite drunk, and thus keeps me coming back.
