Breaks are good?

I took a 2 plus week break from unicycling, due to a flood and not spending
my time wisely. Within twenty minutes of finally riding again, I was able
to ride into a 1 foot idle and ride out for the first time. Before my
hiatus I never spent more than 5 minutes on trying to 1 foot. Anyone else
have an experience like this, or know why it happens?

Well I broke my neck and I can’t ride for at least 2 months. So hopefully by the time I get better I’ll be able to WW and glide with no trouble.

Ya, breaks are good. In most sports. Somehow resets your brain, clearing it of the bad stuff that gets in your way, and you remember the good stuff. Or maybe it has a better chance to make its way from the part of your brain that has to “remember” stuff and into the part of your brain that does it on its own. Kinda like how it doesnt take much mental energy to walk because its been engrained into that certain part of your brain so much you dont have to “think” about it anymore.

I sure hope breaks are good. I have been forced not to ride for nearly a
week now and I’m starting to get stir crazy. Today I’m going to take a
short ride against my Doctors orders. It just has to be done!
