Brand new *BARELY* played before Gibson SG for Sale

The Special has always represented a combination of looks, functionality, and value, and the new Faded SG Special maintains this tradition. Under its attractive faded finish, it is the traditional SG, with mahogany body and neck, tune-o-matic/stopbar bridge, and alnico 490 pickups. Its faded finish gives it the look of an axe that started its rockin’ days in the '60s.

Features:

Mahogany body
Mahogany neck
Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays
24-3/4" scale
1-11/16" nut width
Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece
Chrome hardware
490R and 490T alnico magnet humbuckers
Controls: 2 volume, one tone, 3-way switch

I’m putting this baby up for $750, it’s not mine it’s my friend’s. So I told him ill try to help him sell it. As soon as he got it he relized he wanted drums not some old silly guitar, so its been plucked mybe 3 or 4 times… no more, PERFECT CONDITION. he bought it $867 so we lowered the price a bit. If anyone is interexted PM or post in here. I held it and it made me want to sell my bass and buy it, its a good deal take it while you can.

edit: 15 dollars mor you can get a coffin case gig bag:) (optional of course)

edit again: it is the faded red color.

Thanks so more for your attention,

Chase

sounds stunning but i’m in the market for a set of bagpipes at the moment

have u got a pic of the Gibson?

Bagpipes? Seems a limiting choice for one with your free-ranging musical intellect. I would have pegged you an Uilleann man.

any pics, i know qutie a few people that will be intrested.

joe

I’ll go over to my friends house and take pictures as soon as i can… cant really today cuase its fathers day, maybe later tonight. If not then tomorrow… its one beautiful peice of art.

Chase

you can get that guitar for 600 all over the place.

see here

Well he bought his for 867 from our friendly neighborhood music store. So appearnently he got screwed. he has decided the throw in these few things.

-2 guitar straps ( One black $15 Fender and one super nice Fender leather strap)
-Free Unused new picks (One dozen, you name the size)
-Free new strings, becuase they just put generic strings on their guitars.
-for $30 he will give you a Bone tuner very nice quality and easy to use (if this price isnt fair then tell me it is nogotiable cause we dont know how much it cost but he knows it was more then 30 bucks)
-last but not least. the Coffin Case gig bag for free

edit: almost forgot -A 10 foot cord.

This can all be yours. Just PM me or whatever…

Chase

and he can spell it as well
it’s interesting u mention that
i’ve been keen on them Uilleann’s since i first heard about them while chatting to a visiting celtic muso who came and played a gig in the botanical gardens in nelspruit while i was living there
the band was called ‘Celtic Reflections’ and featured a harpist, a violinist and a bohdran and flute player
in a fascinating combination of the flute and the violin, they managed to immitate a bagpipe sound quite effectively

the reason i’ve jumped in with the bagpipes is that tution is available (no charge) from a guy who runs a pretty active pipe-band and that with the pitch-changes taking place in modern pipes, it’s becoming easier to play the pipes with more other instruments
the Uilleann’s haven’t done this so while they’ll be great for standing with my back to the rising son and regaling my coming-down friends with a pipe-version of ‘Pomp and Circumstance’, for the time being, the GHB are it

one day i will learn to use an apostrophe

in the meantime, in case u’re wondering how many different kinds of bagpipes there actually are…
