The boys start summer wrestling camp next week here in Rochelle and Brad is without a pair of wrestling (or boxing) shoes. This will be his first time so we don’t want to spend a lot of money on a new pair of shoes right now. Might there be a used pair of lonely shoes hanging around our unicycling community that needs a new home?

I’ll check around. One of the guys that works for me was a High School wrestling coach, and is currently a Referee. He is still good friends with several coaches. I will check in the morning.
firstly don’t use boxing boots, there too tall and don’t allow the proper ankle movement required.
secondly if there’s a large sports chain (ie. in canada we have national sports) you can find last yearsmodel of boots on the shoe sale table. I found that they usually only carry the smaller sizes, but 7 1/2 is reasonable to find.
finaly if you end up with a choice of boots try and get a dual sole boot to allow for maximum foot movement and bending.
oh ye and I live in canada and my boots are a 9, so no help here. lol
