I like “bongo boarding,” although i’ve always called it a “rola bola.” I know that Bongo Board is a specific brand. I’m not sure about rola bola though. Mine is made out an 8" diameter piece of pvc pipe and a piece of wood. Way more fun (and dangerous) than those safe ones they manufacter with small rollers.

I have a rola bola which I use quite often. I don’t watch much TV, but when I do, I justify the waste of time by getting a balance workout, juggling on the rola bola while I watch.

I haven’t done it as much recently as I’m focusing on getting my 5-ball pattern, and that’s quite enough challenge by itself without trying to do it on the rola bola.

i’ve heard it called a rola bola…they look like a lot of fun, i think im gonna make myself one. i bet they’re a good ab workout if you do it right.

I cut a piece of plywood and bought a piece of pvc pipe that is 4" in diameter. Where do you buy an 8"? I also tried to put a lacrosse ball under it instead of a pipe. It was much much harder.

I some times do it with piece of wood and a thick cardboard cylinder, it’s pretty fun if you have the right length board.

It gets rather boring after a while, but it is fun once you first get the hang of it. It’s so pointless, which is probably why I was atracted to them.

I’ve tried a friends, we’ve been wondering for ages if you could idle a unicycle on a rola bola along the length of the board, it seems theoretically possible.

I’ve had a unicycle and a bongo board since I was a kid.

I NEVER even thought of trying that…
