Last weekend the worldchampionships track were held in CA, USA.
I use to ride trainings sometimes with Peter Pieters (the coach of NL), who’d lived like 5 mile from me, in the time that he was profesional rider himself. He did ride the Tour de France a couple of times.
Silver medalist on the point-race, Robert Slippens, is from the same year I’m (and from the same disctrict), so I use to compete with him a lot when we were young. Last year he’d won gold. So with this 2nd place he was not too content.
Good to see and hear how much the track evaluated the last 10 years.
In my days these results of this and last year were imposible to even dream of.
Tyler is no joke! Hes gonna put some serious pressure on lance (among many others). Hes got heart man, look at how well he hid with a broken clavical.
Its pretty funny, my friend in collage that I use to race road with had a fake ID that he used…and the name on it was Tyler Hamilton…think some meathead bouncer is gonna pick that one up?
