BMW 4

I have infront of me a poster from the Hockey party. which says.

BMW 4
14th-15th September 2002
Forest of Dean UK
Camping at bracelands campsite near Coleford
as last year.
see
www.vimes.u-net.com/bmw.html for detalis.

If you look at the web page now you will find info on last years BMW, and
this years will use the same camp site and general area. The terrain is
not Tooo serious, but there is some great single track in the forest and
there are plenty of up and down bits. Muniers of all standards welcome.

No doubt more info will follow at a later date, but put that weekend in
your diary, Uk Muniers.

For any that don’t know, BMW stands for British Muni Weekend , so lets not
have a repeat of the whines about promoting a car manufacturer like we
had the other year OK.

and i thought it was short for ‘baby making weather’
still quite appropriate for the island tho

I’ve pencilled the dates in; just got to get this ankle fixed, 2 months should be enough.

Yeehaw! I was there last year for my first ever uni congregation. Anyone thinking about going, should - it was tonnes of fun.

You’ll be there, then? Excellent.

I’ll be doing that - it’ll take me all night to
put that bloody tent up :-).

Uh-oh. Does this mean we get to see Joe trying to drink Alan
under the table again?

Bugger.

Last year I missed the Saturday because it was Number 1 daughter’s
birthday. This year I’ll have to miss the Sunday for the same reason.
Unless I can convince people that BMW 4 is the ideal location for a
6-year old’s birthday party… Thoughts?

Maybe a joint party with Joe. If he attempts to drink Aimee under the
table it might be a more equal contest. Ahem.

Mark.

Any more thoughts needed, Mark?

Some of us are more than a bit miffed that it’s been timed to clash with
Bristol again. But since I can’t do the whole Bristol convention this year,
there’s probably not much point doing the first weekend, so I might make
BMW.
