The machining part of the process isn’t what makes it better, It just usually implies its made to a more precise fit, and likely thicker holders so better for grinding.

The Torker DX has from what I can tell, forged bearing holders, but they are very similar to machined bearing holders.
When I build a frame in the near future, I am going to use the DX frames bearing holders and seat tube.
