hello, people reading this. ummm…do yous like death metal? I think its perdy sweet. Although i dont like the message behind most of it. But like how bout the bands “Dimmu Borgir” or “Cradle Of Filth” I love those 2. What about you guys? And iam Christian so i find it pretty weird that i like all this death metal. But if i actually look up the words, i get really offensive twards it. I guess i just like the sound of it. But hate the words/meaning behind it what they’re saying…if you can even figure out what they’re saying.
Im going to issue a WARNING for ALL of these videos, just because the actuall video to some of them are bad, in a sick-ish sorta way.

so yup, just a few if you dont know what this stuff is. But i guess another reason why i like it is because there is symphony’s included in the music. And some songs are actually all just totally symphony. Its so kewl.
i’m a big filth fan, seen them live twice in the last year or two. If you’re interested in the scene I suggest you get a book called Lords of Chaos, I’m just finishing reading it and it gives great insight to the formation of black metal as a genre, and the personalities and the actions they committed. Found those dimmu videos fairly amusing, they certainly fit the genre must closer the cof do, they’ve not really been black metal since the principle of evil amde flesh which is all good as far as I’m concerned because their early stuff was not good.

You may have heard of the band UnderOath. [christian screamo]
Well back in their early years [first two albums] they were extreme hardcore metal.
UnderOath is my favorite band. And I prefer old underoath over new.
Old underoaths songs are very long and meaningful. The entire album “act of depression” goes out to victims of rape, abuse, abortion, broken hearted people, ect. One problem. The first two albums are out of print and very rare.
They cost around 100 to 150 dollars each. Currently I have downloaded the entire albums off of limewire. But i plan on owning the original albums someday.

The reason the albums have very few songs on them is because the songs are long. The longest song is a bit over 10 minutes and the shortest song is about 6 minutes and 30 seconds.
I HIGHLY reccomend you download these albums and listen.
Yeah there’s lots of good Christian metal out there, not necessarily preachy bible verse lyrics but usually with a good Christian theme and definitely nothing evil/disturbing. They’re just bands who’s members happen to be Christians.
And I don’t know beans about the different “metal genres”… but you could check out um, Demon Hunter, As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, there’s a bunch of 'em just look around…
