Has anyone seen this crazy ad for microsoft? There’s even news articles on it. I don’t get it! Does anybody see the meaning in this? Interpret at your own risk!
lol i saw it
it was a really odd one with williams gate platnium card lol
they are rich people not poor that everyone is looking at them
oh and its very odd but i think the mac commercial is better even though im a pc person
i think it was a miss
I like it.
I love it! They should turn it into a TV show like that other commercial did.
Edit: Wow, I posted that while my computer was busy computing Pi to a billion decimal places.
How fast can your comp do that at?
You should try SuperPi, the modified version that shows milliseconds and post your results.
Microsoft will be using Jerry Seinfeld to boost their image. The ad is quite weird, but I am sure there will be more in the series. Only time will tell if it will be successful.
Yeah I read in time magazine that seinfeld is the official spokesperson for microsoft now.
Well, it’s slightly off topic, but I did run it on a Bill Gates / Jerry Seinfeld computer, so…

+1 on that.
Pretty funny. Especially seeing Seinfeld as being almost the straight man to nerdy Bill Gates. I read in a newspaper article that this is the beginning of a (very expensive) brand-enhancing campaign that’s intended to last at least a year. To build up faith in Microsoft and get us all excited for Windows 7.
I guess while forgetting any problems we may have had with Vista? Apparently Vista is much more ironed out that it was when it first hit the market, but that left a bad taste in lots of peoples’ mouths so they’ve lost faith in Microsoft.
In any case, I don’t think I’ll ever want to eat my computer, no matter how good it tastes.
Moist and chewy. Good taste is not on the delivery schedule.
It would be an expensive cake… unless it is truly worth it in which case it must be the best cake in the entire universe! I liked that advert, it was funny.
we’re talking about it, ipso facto, the advert works
No it doesn’t. My opinion of Microsoft is still quite low. It will improve when the products do. Until then, they are welcome to entertain me with funny, off-beat commercials.
I think about half of the people who dont like Vista havent even tried it yet. I was just waiting for sp1 to come for it, cause now its pretty perfect.
Ive only been using it on a laptop since it came out, but from then to now, I place it higher than XP. Now that I have my new desktop built up ill be getting it installed on here soon. Main reason I like it is cause its a 64bit system.
I have vista and it works great! No freezes, crashes or problems like I used to get with xp, which I recently got a chance to use on another laptop and wow! It seems so obsolete compared to vista. I could never go back to xp!
this one’s weirder…

It’s about time MS answered the Apple ads… It’s just sad that their response was basically “Hey, we can be funny too!” At least the Apple ads pimp their product… MS needs a better ad agency. Having said that, I enjoyed the ad… it was funny. Anyone else see that the pic on Bill’s platinum card is his mugshot from his arrest in '77?
I think the card was my favorite part. =p
I like the ads better than Macs. Macs seem to just bash on pcs, and though it would be easy for pc to switch the script around and bash on Macs, they havent yet.
