Big Wheel Giraffe

Anyone thought about a 36" wheel on a giraffe?? You could probably get a lot
of “lean” into it…

(although one would probably need quite a bit of extra padding for the harder
faster impacts “if” one should happen to fall)

I rode a 42" giraffe about 15 years ago – incredible feeling.

Oddly enough this was one of the zany discussions that did go on during the ride
across Minnesota - so I think it will happen. I would really love to try it,
mounting would be interesting!

Yup! One idea we talked about was making one of my Cokers into a doubled wheeled
unicycle. It would sure be a cool thing to ride! Hmmm… I wonder what kind of
tricks I could do on the 2 meter high beast. It’d be great in parades.

You guys were probably hallucinating by the end of that long ride, too. Anybody
see any strange things on the horizon while you were riding?

Congrats to all of you, whether or not you completed all the miles! You have set
another milestone in the history of unicycling achievements and we are very
proud of you all.

Jacquie and I are donating a penny each (our two cents worth) for every mile
ridden by every rider. I’ll be in touch with Andy to find out the total.

Stay on top, John Foss, the Uni-Cyclone
