I posted here a few years ago - 2014, to be exact - to report the theft of my Muni. Thank you to everyone who looked for it and kept an eye out, but I never got it back. Life got in the way after that, with hip surgery and other dull things, but I am finally in a position to replace it.
Even better, I have managed to get a new KH24 through the government’s Cycle to Work scheme! I’ll be unicycling to and from the office most days, about three miles each way, and I’m looking forward to getting out and doing some riding around the local area.
Odd stories – first, that anyone would even steal a unicycle, given that virtually no one can ride one; and second, that the govt is buying someone a unicycle! (??)
I’d love to do something like cycle to work, but I’ve never worked someplace that would let me walk in the door dripping with sweat.

Some offices I worked in had a shower (and even one did forbid to use it -they thought we will use it with co-worker of different sex !)
I often travelled to deliver (programming) courses and the first think I asked is “is there a shower in the building?” (I stink like a warthog after a ride :D).
So a ride in the morning before the course and another one in the evening after it!
That sounds like a great way to start the morning! Actually my favorite way to start the morning is to take a shower, but you get two great ways to wake up on the same day!
I think that would start off my day in a really good mood, and certainly make me start it alert!
The evening ride would be a great way to blow off steam too.
