Re: Best thing in the world!

that’s a tough toss up between freshly hot chocolate chip cookies and
freshly hot brownies (with an honorable mention to freshly hot Southern Maid
donuts!)

Re: Best thing in the world!

I didn’t read all of that, but keep in mind that a lot of the “milk is
bad for you” shit is complete bull…

Well, read it all… I did. It lists good references. These studies
did happen. Furthermore, it makes sense. Too many things add up.

But the end result is it looks like you can’t miss this bacteria, eh?

(BTW milk is already bad FOR ME. I don’t need anymore convincing.

Re: Best thing in the world!

Does sound like a lot of BS. I don’t drink milk much because I simply don’t
like it, but I think I am actually doing a disservice to myself in this way.
The crap on the NotMilk website reminds me of the stuff some vegetarians
sites advocate about not eating meat. There are studies proving both points
of view, and time will show which one is right.

Re: Best thing in the world!

Exactly… and I’d say there’s no question that the benefits of milk
outway any harm it may do.

What benefits are there in milk that you can’t receive from other
sources…? Milk I do not find an essential item in my life; I don’t
have much of a choice given that drinking it causes diarrhea.

The biggest one is Vitamin D, the only other really good source is the
sun… but then you get skin cancer.

It only takes 15 minutes in the sunlight a day to get your daily dose
I don’t think that’s skin cancer-inducing.

Re: Best thing in the world!

What food is there that you couldn’t say the following about?

Re: Best thing in the world!

Actually, there are a lot of places up North where sun-exposure is not
enough, especially for people with darker skin-tones.
