Best Muni trails in North America?

If you could spend a week riding Muni anywhere in North America, where would you go?

I’m thinking about planning a trip for next summer and I’m looking for BIG mountains (e.g., the Rockies) with great descents, interesting scenery and gnarly trails.

BC. North Shore or Whistler is a good option. Squamish and Nelson have some awesome riding as well.

Salem Oregon, all the way.you sould see the parking lots.they are everywhere, you can seat drag for miles.

Go straight to Vancouver and ride at North Shore and Whistler! But a whole
week of that would leave you destroyed. It would be best to plan on a couple
of rest days in there…

I think our location for the 2004 California MUni Weekend will be Lake Tahoe. Elevations range from around 5000 - 10,000 feet, lots of trails, great scenery.

I agree with Nathan on the Vancouver area. One day following Kris through a handful of his trails and I was dead meat.

If I could go ride anywhere, I guess I’d either shoot for the Vancouver area or somewhere in Colorado. I’ve never ridden in CO, and only once up in Vancouver. I’ve also heard some nice things about an area in Arizona that Scot Cooper was telling me about. I think it was Sedona.

Come to Vancouver Island MUni Weekend and you’ll ride some of the best!
Vancouver rules too.
