Best license plate ever?

I saw this on my way to a friends house today and had to take a picture of it.

John Foss’ license plate is pretty rad, which says “UNICYCL”, but his super-american unicycle-sticker emblazened van is as well. BUt I think his falls a little short from Pikachu…

I know I’ve seen a few people with other unicycling license plates, like Unidad and such, any other cool ones you know of(that aren’t too hard to understand driving by)? Unicycle related or not.

on a white Rabbit

I drive an '84 white VW Rabbit convertible.

Really! I was going to reply with the same thing. I saw mine in Michigan, way back in the 80s when VW Rabbits were more common. Also, Michigan only had 6 characters available at the time so it was even cooler.

When I lived in New York my plate was UN1CYCLE. UNICYCLE belonged to Ken Britton, and I think it has since been picked up by David Stone? NY is the only state I know of that allows the necessary 8 characters.

Dustin Kelm has UNICYCL for Minnesota.

haha.

And then stop short.

In Sweden our license plates have 3 letters followed by 3 numbers.

Once on my unicycle I rode past a parked car with the license plate UPD 666 :astonished: It was a little scary so I rode away as quickly as I could. :stuck_out_tongue:

Too bad I didn’t carrie my camera with me to prove it though…

I remember in Seattle your vans were parked next to each other, I think I have a picture somewhere.

Here is a link to the best two plates…

Check 'em out !

Both vans have changed, but we still have our plates:

Darren’s link didn’t work for me, and I can’t find my own picture of his. But the car is a hearse, and the license plate is R U NEXT.

Also, Guy Hansen has UNICYCL for Utah.

Mine says SKI RUN, and my mom’s says RUN SKI. My father started getting vanity plates with these two phrases over 20 years ago when he always ran and skiied. It’s also kind of cool because our last name is Burzynski (which incorporates the same letters).

John

Not sure why the link didn’t work for you.

The plates there are:

UNICYCLE - mine
MUNI GUY - one I got for Carl Hoyer

I also have these ones on other cars:

CREEPY
GRUSIM
GHOUL
RU NEXT
BEDFORD
YA EH
JUGGLER

I got my first one in 1988.

The link worked when I went back. Must have been a temporary problem on their end. So how many cars do you have at the moment, registered with current plates on them, and do they work?

Very cool that Ontario also allows enough letters to spell UNICYCLE!

Who would wear the unigirl t shirt?

Me.

tons of people

My favorite licence plate was;

3M TA3

needs to be seen in a rear view mirror to make sense.

At DMV things can take forever. It took me two years to get it. And just 2 days for things finaly were about to work out, catboy started this thread. So I was pretty nervous…
But now I have:

best one ever
x3s toh

revesre it (mirror style)

hahaha there is an area in my state where the first three letters in the phone number (not the area code) were 666
