Best knee + shin guards???

Me thinks it’s time to invest in some body armour - namely knee and shin guards.
Most folks seem to go for Roach. Are these the best or is there something else
out there? Like:

Can’t help on these specific products, but I think there was a review in one of
the mountain bike comics this month about knee/shin guards. One of MBR or MBUK -
I tend not to buy them but do browse in Smiths. Might be worth a look for
prices/durability etc.

Re: Best knee + shin guards??? (in the UK)

Thought I’d let folks know that I managed to track down somewhere in the UK that
has Roach body armour in stock. This wasn’t easy as anywhere that listed their
stuff was out of stock and didn’t know when they’d get more in. Hence this
post… So, if anyones looking / wanting go to http://www.leisure-lakes.co.uk
and look in the clothing section for Roach stuff.

Get it while it’s hot
