I have the Mad4One Freestyle 90 uni with 90mm cranks as well as the Impact Athmos which has 138mm cranks. I like the shorter cranks of the Mad4One for freestyle tricks but they still feel a bit to short almost like I don’t have quite as much control as I’d like to have. Any recommendations for crank length for freestyle uni’s?
I think the rationale for short cranks on freestyle unis is for the smoothness. Trials riders don’t give a damn about that, but freestyle is about aesthetics and smooth looks good.
