Abby got a new hat that she’s absolutely thrilled with…
question
I noticed ben has gloves on, do they work well for protecting your hands when you bail and try to catch your seat? I have a viscount seat and when I try to catch it it hurts my hand a lot of times.
Andrew
I didn’t get anything…
Re: question
Andrew,
Ben’s gloves are the required hand protection for convention racing events. We bought the gloves from Osell’s Bike Shop when we were up visiting TCUC once before Osell’s went out of business. The exposed fingers do work well for catching the Miyata handle but the gloves wouldn’t protect his wrists of course in a nasty fall. We’ve ridden with Viscount seats and, yes, they do hurt if you happen to catch a screw or edge just right. But then again, I’ve manage to catch a screw head on a Miyata seat once in awhile too. Here’s a possible answer for sharp, protruding screws:

The gallery is based on a Miyata seat fix but I wonder if it would work for a Viscount seat as well.
Make it a great day!

Me neither, but it’s the thoughts that count, right?
I got the best gifts of all. Money and like 4 eagles (cheer) hoodies.
