I have recently noticed that the axle on my Muni is bent on one end. If I pick
up the unicycle and spin the wheel, I notice that the stud that holds down the
crank is no longer at the center of rotation. Is this a sure sign that soon I’m
going to break it? Or should I switch cranks so that I will be in essence riding
it in reverse, and hopefully the axle will bend back to where it should be? ( I
think i bent it going down stairs, with lots of torque trying to keep my
velocity subsonic) but it still rides (but only after I sawed some material off
the crank so it wouldn’t rub the bearing case.
