Between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem there is a small woods that is well known as a mecca of single track. The Ben Shemen woods are not quite in the Jerusalem mountains therefore the land is described best as rolling hills covered in Pine forest. This forest is blessed with a spiders web of single track trails. Most are not that technical but it is a great place to ride and develope MUni skills. This past Friday Kobi, Nir and myself went MUniing there. We were accompained by Amit who still rides a mountain bike. (We are working on his convertion!) We started riding at 8:15 in the morning and packed up at 11 after almost 3 hours of action packed riding! This was Kobi’s third time riding MUni on single tracks and he is learning very fast!
In the pictures you can see myself using one of the many rocky outcrops as a launching ramp and Kobi riding circles around a Coke bottle.
