I am currently learning how to ride a unicycle, but I have a question, I don’t know much about the different types of unicycles there are out there, my unicycle has a tyre similar to a bmx tyre, but I have seen unicycles with a wider/thicker/chunkier width of tyre, are these more easier for beginners to learn to ride on
It’s generally easier to ride a unicycle that has less friction between the tire and the ground. So a unicycle with a wider/fatter tire generally makes it harder to ride.
The friction comes mainly from how much your tyre is pumped - so a 1.75 tyre might have more friction then a 2.5. Some people have a better feeling as beginners on bigger tyres. But in the end this will not make a big difference tp your learning curve
