Bears and unicycles

I was looking at my Far Side desk Calender and in the comic for today (really
tommorow I accidently tore off today’s) there is a bear on a unicycle. I was
just wondering is there or was there at anytime a bear that could actually ride
a unicycle? Or was it something thought be a unicycle something with another
small wheel? Or is it just that circus mentallity that connects bears riding
biccles to unicyles and puts the two together?

Just wondering, Jeff Sargeant

Chimpanzees and orangutans have. I saw a chimp do it at the Detroit Zoo when I
was little. Mel Hall, one of the greatest unicyclists of all time, taught
orangutans. There was a picture in On One Wheel a few years ago. As for bears, I
highly doubt it. Does anyone know otherwise?

Even greater than Julian Money? Times may have changed…

Re: Bears and unicycles

“SOMEBODY"S BEEN RIDING MY UNICYCLE!” said the papa bear, in his great, huge,
gruff, voice.

“Somebody’s been riding MY unicycle!” said the mama bear, in her
middle-sized voice.

“Somebody’s been riding MY unicycle, and they tore the seat!” said the baby
bear, in his tiny baby voice.

I have always dreamed of teaching a chimp to throw a Frisbee and then teaming it
up with a Frisbee catching dog. Wouldn’t that be an amazing sight?
